Zen Artistry in Oriental Flower Exhibition & Competition

In conjunction with the well esteemed and highly revered Buddhist Culture Floral Art installation, it is an honour for the World Orchid Association ( WOA ) and Lee Flower Design Academy ( LFDA ) to jointly organise the 1st International Oriental Floral Art Exhibition and Competition at The Ekovest Convention Hall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 10th December ~ 17th December 2017.

This will reveal the essence of Eastern influence in traditional flower art and other Oriental flower arrangements, in the history and development of today’s flower designing. Through this exhibition and competition, it will create a valuable platform in deeper understanding and cultural exchange in oriental flower art, especially in religious significance from different countries. The experience and exposure in the international exchange will be instrumental in spearheading the individual profile and development in floral skills and setting the stage for oneself, in floral art designing.

There will be 4 zones in this event :

1. Buddha Altar Floral Art Installation.
I. 6 Zones ~ Big Altars arrangement.

2. Zen Artistry in Oriental Flower Exhibition and Competition.
I. International Designers’ Booth ‐ H 3M X W 3.5M X D 3M
II. Country Representatives ‐ H 2.4M X W 1.5M X D 1.5 M Platform Base H 20cm
III. Solo Display ‐ W 60cm X D 60cm
IV. Oriental Floral Art Competition ‐ W 120cm X D 60cm ( for 2 pieces arrangements )

3. Buddha Floral Offering Presentation.
I. Flower posies for offering.

4. WOA International Floral skills exchange
I. Oriental Floral Demonstration and Performance ( Stage 20M X 7M )
